ENMAX Energy provides Regulated Rate Option (RRO) electricity service on behalf of ENMAX Power to City of Calgary residents. ENMAX Energy is contracted to provide RR0 service to Red Deer, Cardston, Crowsnest Pass, Fort Macleod, and Ponoka; however, the RR0 rates are set by those municipal governments. Enmax Energy’s head office is in Calgary, Alberta.
ENMAX Power Corporation is the wires service provider for the City of Calgary. The City of Red Deer's Electric Light & Power department provides wires service for Red Deer residents.
Fortis Alberta provides wires service for customers living in central and southern Alberta and for the towns of Cardston, Crowsnest Pass and Fort Macleod. Their head office is located in Calgary, Alberta. Fortis Alberta’s parent company is Fortis Inc. and they are located in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Please note the rates above do not include transmission, distribution, administration, local access fees, GST or other charges. As a result, the cost of the "delivered" energy would be higher. Typically, these costs make up an additional 40 to 50 per cent of the energy charges for the average residential single family dwelling.
