ecoENERGY Retrofit Program
Natural Resources Canada's (NRCan) ecoENERGY Retrofit program offers funding for energy efficiency under its ecoENERGY Retrofit Incentive for Buildings. This program can help commercial businesses improve the energy efficiency of their small and medium-sized buildings.

ecoENERGY Renewable Heat Initiative
The ecoENERGY Renewable Heat Initiative is a NRCan program designed to stimulate the demand for renewable energy systems for solar space and water heating. Companies are eligible for a refund of 25 per cent of the purchase, installation and certain other costs of a qualifying system. Qualifying systems include:
- an active solar water heating system
- an active solar air heating system

RETScreen
NRCan offers the RETScreen International Clean Energy Project Analysis Software, an innovative energy awareness and capacity building tool developed to assess energy efficiency projects. The core of the tool consists of standardized and integrated project analysis software. The software can be used to evaluate the energy production, life-cycle costs and greenhouse gas emission reductions for various types of proposed energy efficient and renewable energy technologies compared to conventional energy projects. Dollar to Sense Workshops
Dollars to Sense workshops are developed and offered by NRCan's Office of Energy Efficiency. Attendees learn to:
- identify and capitalize on immediate energy savings opportunities
- develop new, cost-saving energy management solutions
- assemble a money-saving energy management team
- promote a more comfortable and productive workplace
