Spot Power is a competitive electricity retailer for residential and small commercial customers in Alberta. As a 100% privately owned and operated business, Spot Power is a boutique retailer and part of the Utility Network & Partners group of companies with its offices located in Calgary Alberta.

Retail services are available to all residential and small business located in the following Wires Service providers' territories serviced by Enmax Power, Epcor, Atco Electric, and FortisAlberta.

Informed Power Basic Plan

The Floating Energy Price is based on the hourly wholesale cost of electricity plus 1¢/kWh
Each month's rate is based on that month’s average hourly price as based on Alberta Electric System Operator 's (AESO) published prices
Administration fee of $4.00/month
Customers must have e-mail and agree to accept electronic monthly invoices
Payment is accepted through direct debit only
Contract can be cancelled with 15 days notice prior to your meter read date with no penalty costs

Please note the rates above do not include transmission, distribution, administration, local access fees, GST or other charges. As a result, the cost of the "delivered" energy would be higher. Typically, these costs make up an additional 40 to 50 per cent of the energy charges for the average residential single family dwelling.
