- Competitive contract service for electric and natural gas consumers is not available within the City of Medicine Hat.
- Competitive contract service is not available for natural gas customers served by natural gas co-operatives except where members have specifically voted to allow competitive services.
- Competitive contract service may not be available by all retailers in some areas of Alberta.
